Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Asthma occurs because some or all of the airways in the lungs are closed/closing and there is increased mucus production.

It requires the use of medicines, particularly an inhaler, to reopen these airways. It would cause chest pain, shortness of breath, wheezing, dry cough.

If your symptom resolved on its own then it would not likely be asthma since this needs medicine to improve.

The dizziness should be assessed if it continues, there are number of different causes such as: dehydration, low blood sugar, inner ear conditions, low blood pressure, anemia, etcetera.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
