What Causes Dizziness And Tinnitus After A Head Injury?
My adult son was hit in the head last evening and is coughing up blood today. He has a golf ball size contusion, dizzy and has ringing in his ears. Not to mention an awful headache. He is not vomiting and is able to hold fluids and food on his stomach. He is resting and we are keeping an eye on him. Is there anything else we need to be doing?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. Dizziness, tinnitus, head contusion, swelling post head injury are suggestive of internal injury. So better to consult neurologist and get done clinical examination and CT scan of brain to rule out internal brain injury. Don't wait at home ask this cam worsen and be lethal. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your son. Thanks.
