Hi,

Suddenly stopping Pristiq would lead to withdrawal symptoms. The commonly observed withdrawal symptoms of Pristiq may be very unpleasant like--dizziness, vomiting, sweating, agitation, confusion, numbness, tingling or electric shock like feeling. Hence, the symptoms, you are describing may be definitely due to sudden withdrawal of Pristiq.

Hence, it is always advised you not to stop this drug abruptly. It should be done always gradually tapering the dose under guidance of your doctor. Also, Pristiq table is also available in strength of 25 mg, which may help you in easy withdrawal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
