Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve had symptoms of being light headed when I see a lot of motion such as driving, especially at night. I had this symptom as well as ear ringing for over a year. I ve had extensive cadiologucal testing, tests on my brain , vision, and ENT. The only thing that was discovered was a 5 second non sustained irregular rhythm which I take medication for that.
Dizziness and tinnitus are caused by:
- Changes in blood pressure (BP) as you are having an irregular rhythm for which you are taking medications.
- Anemia (have a complete blood count) to rule it out, which is common when taking meds for irregular rhythm.
If you have checked already with ENT specialist, then, vestibular problems have been excluded.
Meanwhile, can take Cinnarizine to promote cerebral blood flow and ease the symptoms. Keep monitoring your bp and record the results for reference.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
General & Family Physician
