What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting After Having Iron Supplements?

Hey my mum is low on iron so the doctor told her to take iron supplements, she took 2 tablets as told and is now feeling dizzy, and is vomiting every now and then, but it finally paused. Is their an explanation of why the iron tablets are causing it? thanks.
