What Causes Dizziness, Breathlessness And Elevated BP Post Pulmonary Embolism?

I had a pulmonary embolism 2 months ago. I ve felt off all day...jittery, slight headache, numbness in both legs, a little shortness of breath...just took BP and it was 147/85. I missed my warfarin doseage 2 days in a row, but took it today. ER? or just paranoid?? Thanks!

Hi,

Warfarin should be strictly taken as advised. However, you have already started treatment, if you don't feel short of breath, and feel fine you should just continue your drug and monitor INR. Your BP is fine. Go urgently to the ER if you feel sick.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
