Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Dizziness, Facial Numbness, Nausea And Pain Under Left Shoulder?
I get suddenly dizzy, occasionally get numbness/tingling in my face, I have an overwhelming feeling like I m going to throw up. It was happening every couple of months, now it s every couple of weeks. Sometimes I get this horrible, horrible pain under my left shoulder blade that builds to the point I m going to cry & panic, but I make myself breath through the pain and it goes away. Has happened twice now about a month apart.
* As per my surgical experience, the issue sounds to be related to possible nerve compression with phrenic nerve or else which may be from underlying mediastinal pathology as tumor, superior sulcus lesion with nerve plexus involvement or else.
* Kindly consult your primary care physician as this does not sound to be normal at all, and needs immediate evaluation with MRI or else as per the clinical judgement ahead.
I would like to discuss further regarding the issue as per your time convenience and further need of follow up after medical consultation or even before that also.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
