Today when I was in biology class, a student passed out in front of the whole class. We soon realized that this was not a normal fainting spell. She began slowly convulsing, and it appeared that she was having difficulty breathing. On the way down, she hit her head on one of the lab tables, and when the teacher removed his hand from her head, there was blood all over it. When she was on the ground, she was making these noises almost like she was having a stroke. It was like she was trying to vocalize her pain but couldn t her eyes were closed and her breathing was shallow and labored. She lost control of her bladder and bubbles appeared from her mouth. I was the one who called 911 and when the paramedics got there she was still unconcious. Clearly I am traumatized by this, being directly involved, but I am more worried about her. Of course because medical records are private, I can t know anything further unless her parents tell me. What do you think was wrong with her?
