What Causes Dizziness Followed By Blackouts And Eye Floaters Upon Exertion?

I have a problem,WHEN I INITIATE MY SELF FROM REST TO WORKING POSITION(WHEN I UPRIGHT FROM SITTING OR LAYING POSITION,OR WHEN LIFTING SOME WEIGHT,OR WHEN I DO SOME HARD WORK) THEN SEVERAL TIMES I GET SUDDEN UNCONSSIUSNESS FOR 10-15 SECONDS ONLEY,AND BOTH EYES GET BLACKOUT,WITH TWINKINGLING SMALL LIGHT PARTICALS DURING THAT 10-15 SECOND.AFTER THAT I RECOVER MY SELF AUTOMETICALLY .DURING THAT PERIOD(10-15SECOND) SOME TIMES I FALL DOWN,SOME TIMES NOT. MY NEOUROLOGYICAL ALL REPORT IS NORMAL. CT SCAN-NORMAL BLOOD CARTISOL LEVEL-NORMAL(7.98) HUTT TEST-NEGATIVE. ECG EEG-NORMAL

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness followed by blackouts and eye floaters upon exertion . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like age-related changes in the vitreous , uveitis , bleeding into the vitreous , torn retina , sinusitis or ear problem . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination for sinusitis and ear problem . Doctor may order CT scan along with examination of ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug , gentamycin , anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to ophthalmologist for eye problem . For now avoid bending forward , take proper rest and take steam . Sometime hormonal changes can also cause such symptoms .
