What Causes Dizziness, Headache And Burning Sensation On Back?

My day started off normal as usual. When I got to work however i started feeling very dizzy and light headed. As the day went on it finally went away, however now i have a headache and a burning sensation on the left side of my back radiating into the front side. What could it be?

Hi, thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. Your symptoms are suggestive of

- Tension headache along with back muscle fatigue (spasm)

The tension headache (stress headache) is the most common type of headache. It occurs due to eye muscle spasm after focusing for prolonged duration.

The usual symptoms are dull pain, involves whole head, may cause burning sensation, band like sensation around forehead, relief after eye closure, less responsive to medication and occurs for long duration.

The office work might have caused this and the bad posture in office, might be the cause of burning sensation in back (fatigued).

Now to get relief, you can follow few tips

- Take rest. sleep well for at least 8 hours

- You can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription.

- Massage of back and head

- Apply painkiller gel over back

- Avoid bright light, bad posture of back

- You can start stretching exercise with meditation to get complete relief

If no relief, you should consult doctor. The back pain might need

- X ray spine to rule out any bony lesion like listhesis
- MRI spine to rule out disc or canal stenosis

Final treatment can be given after confirmation
Hope it will help.
Thanks. Take care.
