What Causes Dizziness In A Child?

Hello, I have a 7 year old who was sent home from school because he was dizzy. We found out from him that one of the teacher was spinning him on a spinning pole. He felt better when he got back. But after shower and laying in bed, he said the ceiling is still spinning. Should i be worry about this, he s never experience dizziness before. This is a long term effect, or just temporary? Thanks
