What Causes Dizziness In A Patient With COPD And Anxiety?
I have been having a lot of dizziness lately. it has got to the point that there are times I can t drive. I have had several MMR s and they show several white spots. I also have Hep C, COPD, Fibromyalgia, anxiety disorder, I wonder why! I can t get a straight answer from my PCP,, Neurologist, and other doctors. could my heart have something to do with my dizziness? It s every day and I am very limited as what I can do.
Dizziness in your case may be due to many reasons: -Anemia. Have a peripheral smear examination and blood routine tests to rule out anemia -Vestibular disorder. BPPV(Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) can present with dizziness. It can be treated very effectively by an ENT specialist. -Lack of inadequate oxygenation. COPD can cause less oxygenation of your blood by the lungs and thus causing your symptoms. COPD can also cause anemia. -Chronic Hep C can cause liver dysfunction and decreased blood albumin and other essential proteins that affect your function -It could also be a heart problem. Cardiomyopathies and long standing heart disease can cause this Now it is upto your doctors to pin point which one of these problems is the root cause of your symptoms and treat it. Thank you. Have a nice day. If you have any followup questions, feel free to ask me.
