Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter, age 17 has been having fainting spells with dizziness, nausea, fatigue. There does not seem to be a common factor that precedes any of the incidents. She said someone checked her blood pressure and it was very high the last time it happened. Any idea what this could be- this has been happening for about a month
I think she has to check blood sugar and also blood pressure. Sometimes diabetes or hypotension may cause this situation. Also, iron deficiency anemia may be a cause so she should check blood count and ferritinemia.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
