What Causes Dizziness, Nausea And Weakness During Pregnancy?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and for the past two days I have felt weakness in my arms and legs, they feel like jelly and it feels like they weigh a ton. Also I've been nauseaus and dizzy. I've felt like I am going to faint and I've had a constant pounding headache. When I sit or lay down, I feel better, but my head still pounds and as soon as I stand up it starts right back immediately. I don't know if I should just get some rest or call my doctor...

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion heaviness of arms and legs might be a usual symptom at this gestational age.Try to do walking daily.I suggest you to check for HB level to rule out anaemia and BP to rule out hypertension in pregnancy. The high BP might be sometimes associated with swelling of feet and headache.Take panadol for headache.
If everything is normal you might not worry.
Best regards...Dr.srilatha
