General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Brief Answer: You are suffering from the loss of blood through the digestive tract .

Detailed Answer:
Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headache, bad taste in the mouth and bloating are symptoms of insufficient circulating blood volume.
You have presence of fresh blood in stools, often due to lower gastrointestinal bleeding, which is called hematochezia.
Melena refers to the dark black, tarry feces that are associated with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. The black color caused by hemoglobin in the blood being altered by digestive enzymes and intestinal bacteria.
Upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding is considered a medical emergency and typically requires hospital care for urgent diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Enton Dore M.D., Emergency physician.
