What Causes Dizziness, Panic Attacks And Episodes Of Memory Loss?

My husband has been dizzy for about a week now after having a panic attack. He now has experienced a memory lapse and it s hard for him to remember what just happened. Do we need to go to the hospital? In the last week, he has been to the ER and they said it s nothing life threatening. Yesterday he say his primary care and they took blood for some blood work. We are waiting for the primary care doctor to call us back. While we are waiting should we just go to the hospital. My husband said it s worse as each day goes on.

Hi,

As per your query cause of dizziness, panic attacks and episodes of memory loss may be related to sensory nerves in brain, or nerves degeneration due to loss of vitamin B1 and Vit B complex, long term anxiety and alcohol addiction etc.

Although it's not a life threatening condition but still it hampers daily routine activities and there is need to consult a neurologist for proper diagnosis. Blood investigation for hemoglobin and vitamin is needed. If dizziness is severe it can be disorder of vestibulocochler organ of ear. I suggest you to consult neurologist first and if there is smoking or alcohol addiction you must quit that.
