What Causes Dizziness Upon Lowering And Lifting The Head?
Hi,I have recently had dizziness on lowering and lifting my head.It doesn t last for more than a day but I also suffer with chronic fatigue which has recently got a bit worse.I have a physical job cleaning and the symptoms are bad at certain times throughout the day .Although the last bout of dizziness was at the end of the day when I lay down. I welcome any advice.Thanks.Suzanne Pownall
Dizziness can have different possible causes. It may be related to your chronic fatigue but other causes can be:
(1)low blood pressure
(2)postural hypotension- blood pressure drops on standing
(3)dehydration
(4)side effect of medication
(5)related to conditions of the inner ear
You may need to be seen to determine the exact cause for your symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
