What Causes Dizziness Upon Turning Over In Bed?

For over a week, I am dizzy when turning over in bed, when I get up in the morning, the room is spinning. I have headaches, which I hardly ever have. 11 yrs ago, I had plates & screws in the very top of my neck & about 5 yrs ago I was told I had a bulging disc, but Im not sure where it is in reference to the surgery. My neck has been bothering me (very tight & achy & hurts) for about 2 wks as it does periodically, but Im not sure if its how Im sleeping or if all this is tied in. My legs feel @ times a little weak

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi,

These symptoms you are mentioning could be related to the cervical spine. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with a neurologist and performing a cervical spine X-ray study. Consulting with an ENT specialist may be needed too, in order to exclude a possible inner ear disorder.

Hope I have answered your query.
