What Causes Dizziness Upon Waking Up In The Morning?
MY MOTHER IS 85, AS SOON AS SHE GETS UP FROM BED IN THE MORNING SHE IS LIGHTHEADED ALL DAY, SHE HAS TO LIE DOWN ON THE COUCH, SOME DAYS ARE VERY BAD THAN OTHERS, IT SEEMS TO BE GETTING WORSE, DOCTORS CAN NOT FIND THE CAUSE, SHE HAS BLOOD PRESSURE TABLETS AS WELL AS HEART TABLETS.

hi..this is postural hypotension..when you suddenly get up from the sitting position your blood will be pooled in the legs because of gravity...so your brain won't get enough blood and you feel dizee and light headedness...this could be of her age and especially because of her pressure tablets and heart tablets...please consult her physician and inquire about the drugs she takes and side effects of them...Thank you
