What Causes Dizziness, Weakness In The Legs And Palpitations?

All of the sudden, my 18 year old son felt extreme dizziness, weakness in his legs and a racing heart. He was just sitting on the couch, filling out applications for college scholarships. He has felt similar, but not as severe symptoms in the past, usually associated with periods of exercise outside in the heat. Any idea what may be the cause?

Hello,

I got it and it is due to hypotension or low pressure, that he developed such symptoms. Do not worry, it can happen to anyone. Feed him well, lemon juice with salt and sugar and do not let him empty stomach ever or starves unnecessary and ask him to take plenty of liquids.

As you have mentioned about the heat as well, so he suffers from loss of electrolytes which cause such symptoms as well. You can also take him to the emergency room for general check up. overall nothing serious to worry.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
