What Causes Dizziness When Suffering From Hole In Heart?

I was born with large hole between both chambers of my heart it was almost healed when i was 6 months old but has never been checked since. I am 16 years of age. I occasionally have chest pains and get many headaches. I have blind spells occasionally where my vision slowly vanishes and i get dizzy and feel pressure in my head then comes back in under a minute of it starting. Is it possible the hole that i was born with are associated with my symptoms? Is it possible for the hole to heal and reopen? How do I get an appointment with a cardiologist?

Hi,
I would advise you to undergo echocardiography examination to ensure the hole between two chambers (atrial septal defect) has been closed and there is no minimum flow.
In case the hole haven't closed entirely and there is residual flow between chambers, it can cause some of your symptoms.

Hope I could help you

In case of further questions don't hesitate to ask
