What Causes Dizziness While Moving Head?

This morning I woke up and had a dizzy-like spell. My left eye felt numb and moving the head too quickly or focusing my eyes to a certain place (straight up or lower-right) made me feel dizzy. I went back to sleep but it continued for several hours before it started to fade.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Dizziness while moving the head can be related to benign paroxismal vertigo.
I suggest using meclizine hydrochloride three times a day.
I also suggest to avoid salt in the diet.
If the symptoms continue, I suggest to see an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
