What Causes Dizziness While Standing Despite Being On Nexium And Cymbalta?
I have been experiencing dizziness upon standing for several years. More recently it has been much worse and I have pressure (not really pain )in the top of my head. I m on blood pressure med, nexium 2 times a day, potassium, miloxicam, and cymbalta. Several years ago I had a nessan fundoplication and had a cerebral aneurysm clipped over three years ago. I have not smoked for 3 years and never been a drinker. The last months have been filled with tests and doctor appointments. My head, chest, and neck have had MRI had cardiac stress test and echocardiogram. All negative. Also had tilt table exam, exam of eyes and ears and nerve conduction studies. All negative. The only thing that hasn t been rechecked is my esophagus. Also failed to mention my very elevated sed rate. Could my symptoms be caused by my esophagus?
The elevated sedimentation rate can be due to inflammation but if you don't have other symptoms it can be not much important. The dizziness may be a side effect of medications you are taking such Cymbalta and Meloxicam. You may need to consult your doctor to reduce their dosage.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
