What Causes Dizziness While Suffering From High BP?

For the past two weeks I have had dizzy feelings and excessively high blood pressure in the mornings with lower blood pressure readings in the evenings. In addition, my head feels like it is going to explode. What is the cause and what should I do?

Hello. Welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Dizziness and headache is due to high blood pressure which need to be controlled on priority basis. Ideal blood pressure should be less than 140/90 mmhg persistently.

My advice to you is -

Go for 24 hrs ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. It will give you confirmatory idea regarding how much is the fluctuations in the blood pressure you have. According to that report your doctor can adjust the dosage of medications.

Kindly do your routine blood tests like thyroid profile, kidney profile, blood sugar levels all of which can be responsible for high blood pressure.

Daily brisk walking, exercise, eating fruits and fresh vegetables will help to reduce blood pressure.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
