What Causes Dizziness With Intense Pressure In Left Ear And Muffled Hearing?
Every once in a while (more often) when I ve been sitting for a long period of time and get up, I get intense pressure in my left ear, along with dizziness which lasts for 10 seconds and then goes away. Sometimes my hearing is also muffled at the same time and vision hoes dim momentarily. My pulse while sitting is around 60-70, when I stand up, it goes to 100 first, but then drops down to around 80. What could this be?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your history of getting intense pressure in your left ear and dizziness which lasts for 10 seconds on getting up after sitting for a long time, muffling of the hearing and dimming of vision momentarily. Also have variation of the pulse.
I would advise you the following: You seriously need clinical evaluation, detailed examination and Investigations by an ENT and Cardiologist to get to the diagnosis. You may need many investigations either to rule out or to confirm what the problem may be.
