What Causes Dizziness With Stuffy Nose And Head Congestion?
I was sitting on the couch and I felt a small pop and then got really dizzy. I have been up since 5:00 am and was tired so I took a nap. I feel fine now but I am anxious about this experience. My sinuses have been pretty bad lately with very stuffy nose and head congestion. Is this related?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dizziness with stuffy nose and head congestion which is because of Eustachian tube disorder, which require medical attention because it can lead to middle ear infection. Sometimes when we blow nose it causes mucus to flow in Eustachian tube which travel all the way to middle ear and causes symptoms your mention in your query as eustachian tube connects meddle year to upper throat and balance air pressure of middle year. I would suggest you to to consult ENT specialist and neurosurgeon also for proper examination and to rule out other causes like increase in intracranial pressure. Doctor may prescribe antibiotic course and decongestant and anti emetic medications. Avoid touching or pricking ear with any sharp object.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
