What Causes Dizziness,headache And Elevated Heart Rate While Having Vertigo?

My 14-year-old daughter has vertical, last night she got an episode and I call the ambulance when they came her pressure was down and heart rate was up and Her head felt like knives stabbing , She was dizzy and nauseous and she felt cold and hot and her face was pale and she also was incoherent. I don t know what to do. when she got to the hospital her vitals went back to normal and she only had a headache. Please help me I don t know what else to do. thank you, Yenny

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dizziness ,headache and elevated heart rate while having vertigo. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like ear infection ,meniere's disease , low iron level or cardiac problem. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test , CT scan , take history along with examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like gentamycin along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend vestibular therapy or may refer you to cardiologist for heart problem .For now take proper rest ,drink green tea thrice a day and avoid bending forward.
