Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
the past few days i have been feeling sick, i have felt dizzy when i would stand up and i have headaches and my ear is hurting. what could it be? i dont want to go to the doctor because i have a fear of them, and i am just wondering if maybe it is because of the heat.
Feeling dizzy when you stand up can be related to low blood pressure also called as hypotension. I would suggest: 1. Get your blood pressure monitored. 2. Get your eyes examined as decreased eye sight can sometimes lead to headaches. 3. Avoid stress When you feel dizzy Sitting down right away and rising slowly when getting up may help relieve dizziness. To improve balance, using a cane may also help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manreet Benipal, General & Family Physician
