Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your husband's situation and problem.
Possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is more because his symptoms are more after eating.
GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter.
Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms of chest pain, burping, burning stomach, chest tightness, pressure etc.
So ask him to avoid stress and tension. Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid smoking and alcohol if he has these habits.
Ask him to start proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs.
Walk after meals is helpful to prevent GERD.
Don't worry, with all these he will definitely improve.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
