What Causes Dizzy Spell And Weird Feeling In Head?
I was in the bath and tried to get out of it, but got a dizzy spell and slipped, bashed my head on the inside of the bath. This was around two hours ago, and I have no serious symptoms (no throwing up, no blurred vision, I can remember everything, and I have not blacked out), but my head does feel a little weird. I m terrified for my health (I ve already been through a bit of shock) but I want some advice/reassurance from a doctor. Please answer -- I m really scarred.
I can understand your concern. The dizzy spell could have occurred due to low BP or sudden vertigo. If it has occurred for the first time, you can wait but if it is occurring frequently. Get your BP, ear and vestibular system checked up from doctor to reach unto some diagnosis.
For head injury, it is almost clear that you are not having any signs of head injury. It is good. Alarming head injury signs are : vomiting : ear/nose/throat bleed : loss of consciousness : decreasing consciousness : seizures : onset of new focal deficit : persistent headache If you have any of above signs you must consult ER. For pain, you can take Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription.
Thanks. Hope it will help you. Take care.
