What Causes Dizzy Spells Along With Blurred Vision?
I am a relatively healthy 40 year female .. I have normal blood pressure and no known disease . I have been having dizzy spells the past three weeks and also blurred vision at times . I saw an ER dr. And they thought I might have vertigo so they gave me a Rx for meclizine . It helped it seemed but now it s back and the rx doesn t seem to work . Any ideas ?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Dizziness and blurring of vision can be due to refractive error of the eyes. Refractive errors can lead to blurring of vision, watering of eyes, strain, headache, dizziness etc. Thus in my opinion, you should consult an ophthalmologist for clinical assessment and to check vision and to prescribe glasses if there is any disorder of refraction. If the symptoms are due to refractive error, wearing glasses will help to relieve those symptoms.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
