My husband was having some dizzy spells. He said he would get dizzy to the point of passing out, then it would stop. He went to the hospital to get checked and he has an irregular heartbeat that they were concentrating on. He has had the irregular heartbeat off and on over the years. The cardiologist said it is not what caused the dizziness. He suggested it was possibly vertigo or he should see a neurologist. They released him from hospital as they put him on medication for the heartbeat. His family doctor can take see him until August 29, he has an appointment for a CT scan on November 15. The issue is he also has some memory issues that have developed. Sometimes he is normal and then he can t remember discussing something twice in two days or what was discussed just a few minutes before. Should I push for an earlier CT scan or a different test? The dizziness has subsided, but he has also been off of work for over two weeks and could be going back after his final appointment with the cardiologist on the 24.
