What Causes Dizzy Spells Even While Sitting?

i went to doctor recently about gatting dizzy spells even when i,m sitting down these have been for 2 weeks now he said uit was nothing to worry about and with my age59 they can come and go but i do not think this is normal what could it be he did say we will keep a notee of it

hello, dizziness at 59 yrs could be due to hypertension, diabetes, heart problems like vt, ear related disorders, anaemia, spondylitis,bppv, dehydration. kindly evalaute by general physician and ent surgeon for possible cause and treatment.
