What Causes Dizzy Spells, Light-headedness And Visual Disturbances?

Hi, I have recently been suffering from dizzy spells that are quite severe but have not fainted. It seems to be when im hot, my face feels like its on fire and the room spins and I can see visual disturbances. It is usually accompanied by a headache, always right side only. I am not anxious and my heart does not race nor do I experience sweating but when I remove myself from the situation cool down the dizzyness subsides but I still feel a little giddy. I am overweoght but eat healthy and excercise regularly. I also drink lots of water.

Hello,

You are suffering from dizziness, it is severe but have not fainted. You also have visual disturbance. It is accompanied with headache (right side). Since you are overweight, avoid taking trans fat, refined flour, full fat dairy products, processed food, packaged food, etc. Maintain healthy weight. You are suffering from migraine headache that may also cause nausea or dizziness.

Get clinically examined by a GP/ENT, get migraine headache treated at the earliest. Other cause of dizziness is vertigo, get examined and tested for vertigo, get audiometry test done if required. You will be accordingly treated. Make sure your vitals are normal. Sometimes, hypoglycemia, hypotension, low sodium- potassium level in the blood stream may also cause dizziness or light headedness. Do not drive and do not do any hard work or exercises. Stay at rest while you will be treated.
