What Causes Dominant Vein On The External Side Of The Arm?

Hi! I have a bulging vein on the outside of my right wrist that is sensitive to the touch. It s been there for about 2 days and has recently started radiating pain a few inches up my arm. Do you know what this is or think it s worth a visit to the doctor? Thanks!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, if there has been no trauma to the wrist or blood sampling then it could be a nerve problem. It would be best to see your Doctor or GP who can see you and advice accordingly.
Do not worry, it would most likely be something manageable.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
