I am going to see an eye specialist in dec. what do you think i have. I am very depressed over this. i am old, that is my only problem. Maybe its my glasses. I do have watery eyes. Dr. Said i did not have a mini stroke.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Double vision is also called diplopia can be due to ocular muscle paralysisphoria. Squint can be anisometropia due to amblyopia of one eye.

Refraction should be done if error found then it should be corrected.

An eye doctor should examine every aspect of the eye. It cannot be due to a tooth problem.

If required it can be extracted or root canal treatment can be done and this will not affect vision. It is only a misnomer they are a separate entity.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
