What Causes Drainage Of Green Liquid From Nipples During Mammogram Procedure?
I have a friend who is a heavy smoker, and has a history of prescription drug abuse. She went for a mammogram today, and the procedure cause green slimy matter to ooze out of both of her nipples. The doctor but her on a heavy antibiotic regimen, and has her coming in Monday for a follow up. I used to work in a hospital for years, and know a good bit about health matters, but I have never heard of anything like this. Needless to say, she is freaking out, and so am I. Hi! It can be disturbing for a person, such as your friend, when such an event occurs. The first thing that comes to the mind is an infection. I would say with confidence that though your friend is a heavy smoker and is liable to get cancer in the future, this is not a case of cancer, which is the hidden reason your friend must be freaking out. I am confident that upon taking the medications that have been prescribed, she must be given emotional support and counselling, and I feel that the best person who can do that is a close friend like you.
