General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The auditory tube allows fluid to drain from the ear into the back of the throat.
The ear infections, the common cold and allergies can often lead to draining of the fluid.
I suggest using a decongestant such as Dexometorphan.
I also suggest using a saline nasal spray and drink liquids.
I also suggest using a humidifier at home.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
