What Causes Draining Of Fluid And Blood From Ear?

I am having a problem with my ear. It s draining a clear fluid but sometimes mixed with blood it has caused a scab inside my outer ear that won t heal and now I hear a ringing that won t stop...it s really getting sore and uncomfortable. If I pull down on the lobe I feel pressure that eventually it sounds like a fluid is draining...it s so uncomfortable and seems to be getting worse...thank you for any help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to conditions like otitis (inflammation of the middle ear) or perforated ear drum. Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. Detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
