What Causes Drooping Face And Speech Impairment?

My friend age 79 began to have stroke like symptoms today, drooping face, couldn t speak, but could raise her arms and walk. After a few minutes, she could talk again, but was still somewhat disoriented, but better than before. We called 911 and she was taken to the ER where she had four other similar occurences. She is on blood pressure meds, but has no heart problems. The ER doctors can t determine if it is seizures that are happening or small strokes. Any thoughts from you???
