What Causes Drooping Of The Left Eyelid?

My left eyelid kind of droops and on occasion it can swell and look like I was hit in the eye. Mostly during humid rainy weather. My left eye is always slightly hooded, and then on occasion it can swell. I sleep only on my left side because I get vertigo if I lay on my right side.

You should undergo cervical spine X-ray and X-ray for para-nasal sinuses. Consult an ENT surgeon.
