What Causes Drop In AMH Level While Trying To Conceive?

I am 34 years female and struggling to conceive after a missed abortion last year. Recently I had repeated all the tests and following are the results. TSH: Normal Ovaries, Uterus Normal AMH : 1.27 My earlier AMH value taken in Sept 2014 was 4.5 and now it has dropped. I had taken Ovygyn DSR 200 tablets for nearly six months and have stopped in January this year because of slight periods fluctuations. As of now I am taking only MCBM69 tablets along with Siphene 100 mg from Day 2 to day 6 of the cycle. My doc said that she would get the FSH and Fallopian tube test done which has to be done in the next cycle. I am really confused on what to do next. I am really surprised by the drop of AMH values inspite of taking Ovygyn tablets Kindly help me.

Hello,

Causes of low AMH levels are commonly stress & anxiety. Neglect on taking nutritious food, vitamin deficiency, age, overweight, pollution, lifestyle(stay away from smoking, alcohol, other addictions etc) & it could be genetic factors.

Reduce stress, stay away from anything that takes away your peace. The more you are relaxed & happy the better are your chances to conceive.

Take nutritious food(rich in iron, calcium & protein), vitamin supplements, lower your BMI if you are overweight.

Stay away from worries, women with low AMH do have good egg qualities & have chances of healthy conception. Take a balanced diet & do not let AMH fall below 1.0. Normal AMH (for fertile women) =1.0–4.0 ng/ml.

Get all tests done by your treating doctor. Fallopian tube test will detect whether or not the tubes are blocked. Hope your partners Seminal fluid tests have been done. Infertility treatment requires treatment of both the partners.
