What Causes Drop In INR Level?

Is it possible to develop an immunity to Warfarin? My husband had a pulmonary embolism after an accident and his INR level was steady for a few weeks, but now has started to drop in spite of the increase in the Warfarin dosage. We do blood tests once a week but its still dropping. Is it possible that he's becoming immune?

Welcome to H.C.M.
Dear friend before thinking about Warfarin resistance, I advise you to repeat PT INR test from other laboratory. Not take any kind of food one hour before and after your Warfarin. Avoid leafy vegetables when you are on warfarin.Always be in touch with your cardiologist.
Thanx for query.
