Hi I had a small PE and lung infarct 2 months ago. The pain was excruciating at the time. I am on rivaraxabam for 6 months. I began feeling unwell last week with same symptoms, pain in my left leg, left lower lung and left shoulder. The pain is more of a spasm witch makes me feel sick. My gp sent me to hospital for tests. Chest xray was negative as was last time prior to a ctpa. My ddimer this time was also negative this time. I was told to rest and take regular pain killers for a few days. I have slept long hrs for past few days, feel exhausted. They said mybe it was the clot breaking down of plural pain. They made me feel like a fraud as if I was wasting their time
