What Causes Drowsiness While On Carvedilol?

my friend is on 25mg of Carvedilol(heart med.) his doctor raised his medication from 12 mg the other day to the 25mg. since then he keeps falling asleep and doesn t appear to be concentrating as normal I m concerned that he may be having trouble getting the normal blood flow. please help this has been happening for two to three days, since his medicine was raised.

somnolense(increased sleep), dizziness and fatigue are included in the side effects of carvidilol. another visit to the physician should be done to re adjust the dose for betterment of daily activities
