I have a rash on my face. At times it looks like pimples. At times it looks like a rash. It is dry, burns, and is itchy. Starting around my eyes which are now very dry. Topical steroids and doxcycline prescribed; seemed to lessen the flare but not take it away. Severity and intensity varies by the hour.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history of dry and itchy skin on the face. My treatment advice is :
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
