What Causes Dry And Sensitive Facial Skin?

for the last 3-4 months my facial skin has had a different texture to it, it also has flare ups with burning and very dry/sensitive but what is concerning is the feel of the skin all the time. my face is the only place on my body that is feeling this way.

Hi,

It can be due to photo-sensitivity or due to light exposure as other skin is least exposed comparably however you can get a dermatologist review and get a review whether it's due to skin tone of any skin condition like atopic dermatitis etc and whether any baseline autoimmune work up for any systemic vasculitis is needed or not. Meanwhile any sun block of SPF 30 and above as well as emollients like liquid paraffin and vaseline combination may be helpful.
