have been having pains in my throat, difficult to swallow anything including saliva under different cephalosporins tabs and injection but the issue improved less.prescribed curam 1g the pain in my throat have reduced but now i have very dry coughs,pain in my chest,.Any help
Hi, The upper respiratory tract infection in your case is start responding with the said Curam 1 gm. the progression of these response is relieving of pain and swelling in the throat. the congestion in the laryngeal inlet gets corrected with the antibiotic thearpy slowly because of less vascularity of vocal cords.
you add up steam inhalation or hypertonic saline nebulisation , and cough suppressants with in 48 hrs it will subside.
if not check with the chest physician to rule out pneumonia and pleurisy which causes cough and chestpain and which requirs intravenous antibiotics.
