What Causes Dry Cough And Throat Pain While On Pradaxa?

I have been on Pradaxa now for almost three years now and I have developed a dry cough my throat seems to clamp up and I feel that I an going to choke, there is no phlem produced can you give me any info on this problem, I will be 92 in October. Clement Cook

Hi, Thanks for the query.

Dry cough may be because of allergy or acidity or asthma.

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination & Esomeprazole.
