What Causes Dry Cough In An Infant?

My son has a dry cough. He s had unexplained lung problems since he was 1 month old and he is currently 10 months. We did good the past week but today this started. He s wheezy and congested, runny nose and eyes, super dry cough cries after his cough. His has no fever and I tried giving him water and he chugs it like his mouth is dry.

see wheeze and coughing in an infant can have various reasons like
childhood asthma
bronchiolitis
whooping cough
inflammation of the larynx and pharynx etc

and as you said the symptoms are present since early infancy the chances of asthma or bronchiolitis seems likely...


but from the short history and without examining the baby it is not possible to reach the diagnosis....

so i would suggest you to visit a PAEDIATRICIAN and get your baby thoroughly checked...
